Dated 1837 this French mahogany box with full label of A. Giroux, Paris (“merchant to princes”) is ingeniously packed with 4 gameboards, 2 racquets, feather birdies(slight damage) many game pieces, boxwood and rosewood tops and yo-yo, hand-colored game panels, etc on 2 trays, complete with instructions and etchings. Over 20 individual games. Appears to be complete with slightest wear and imperfections. All fits perfectly into inlaid mahogany box.
