Lea Stein Paris The Fox Pin
SKU MLAS062106
Circa 1960-1970s "Paris the Fox" pin composed of Celluloid Acetate in red and black. The black fox is detailed with red eyes, nose, and ears. French artist and accessory maker Lea Stein began designing her iconic jewelry in the 1960s. Stein and her Chemist husband developed a technique of layering and laminating extremely thin sheets of Celluloid Acetate. The multidimensional pieces were then baked for long periods, cooled, and then cut into shapes. A process that could take up to six months. Made in France. Please note wear consistent with age.
