Circa 1960-1970s Paris the dog pin by Lea Stein composed of Celluloid Acetate. Lea Stein began designing her iconic jewelry in the 1960s. Stein and her Chemist husband developed a technique of layering and laminating extremely thin sheets of Celluloid Acetate. The multidimensional pieces were then baked for long periods, cooled, and then cut into shapes. A process that could take up to six months. Made in France. Please note of wear consistent with age.
