Huge 17th Century Dutch Bible and Other Works
Circa late 17th century large scale Dutch bible with other works bound together in a single volume. One published work in the book is attributed to Hendrick & Jacob Keur and Marcus Doornick as noted on the base of the title page of the New Testament. The five maps in this book include a map of the globe with California and the Western portion of North America depicted as an Island. The maps are framed in original leather covered wood and boards with one of the two original scrolled metal clasps still included. Made in the Netherlands. Please note of wear consistent with antique age. Some of the leather is replaced including the spine leather, there is also some loss of leather on the covers. One clasp is missing on the exterior to keep the book securely closed.
