The piece was made in England during the first half of the 20th century. Please note wear consistent with age including minor patina. During the early 19th century, Lambert was Great Britain's "Heaviest Man" and a favorite of King George III who invited him to court for meals. It was said he could eat twenty birds in one sitting.
