Circa 1890s Georgian Chinoiserie style decorated two door, glass front bookcase with two drawers and five shelves on lion's paw feet. The piece is also gilded and detailed throughout with Chinoiserie decorations such as foliage, flowers, and birds as seen on the drawer fronts and side panels. The background color includes a pale yellow on the exterior and a pale green on the inside cabinet. The top of the bookcase is removable into two pieces. Made in England. Please note of wear consistent with age including minor loss of gilding. No structural damage of all original glass.
