Circa 1710s rare William & Mary/Queen Anne style sconce reflector in Walnut with Pine secondary wood. The original glass and backboards were converted and adaptively reused to a butterfly case when mirror silvering was lost. Made in the United States. Please note of wear consistent with age including minor losses but the original glass is retained. There is also evidence of minor fissures, patina, and chips to the wood frame due to antique age. The glass was retained and converted to a butterfly case while the original mirror is lost.
